Notices
Holy Communion
As a church family we like people to feel included in our Holy Communion services. However if you are unable to attend church on those Sundays, or you know someone who would like to receive Home Communion because they are physically unable to attend church, then please contact shorehamparish@gmail.com and we will add you to our list for visits for Home Communion once a month.
Jazz evening
Thank you to the Friends of Shoreham Church for organising such a great Jazz evening event. We will let you know monies raised in due course.
Sevenoaks Loaves and Fishes Foodbank
The number of families needing the help of foodbanks continues to grow. Please consider whether you could add something for our local foodbank to your weekly shop.
Boxes for donations are at the back of the church.
Breakfast Church
It’s time to make new promotional cards for Breakfast Church.
If you like drawing and want to see your artwork in print please let the office have a drawing of something that happens at Breakfast church. It could be the food we eat, the tables we work round, a craft item we made or anything you remember and enjoyed at Breakfast Church. Drawings needed by the end of March please. They can also be put through Jill’s door at 37 High St if that is easier.
We would still like to widen the number of people helping to shop and cook breakfast for Breakfast Church.
If you enjoy coming, why not think about joining in to make it happen. Please see Jill Aisher, text 07989 278723 or email jill.aisher@gmail.com if you can help.
For your prayers
Each week in church we pray for those who are sick or in any kind of need. If you would like your full name or just your first name added to our prayer list, please email shorehamchurch7@gmail.com. Please pray...
for members of your church family and their friends:
-
for Kath's friend Alex, who is receiving end of life care

for our local parish school:
-
for Gillian Lovatt-Young as she prepares to retire and

for Mrs Sheraton as she prepares to take up the Headteacher position in April
for the Food Bank:
-
for wisdom in running the Food Bank and that they would be a place of light and help for those in need; we pray for their clients who are seeking jobs, have experienced trauma and those struggling with mental health issues/addictions/debt/homelessness, and those that feel lonely and isolated at the moment.
for wider issues in the community around us and in the world:
-
for all victims of war, natural disasters and climate change
-
for all who are ill, awaiting treatment or recovering from illness.
-
for all those who are receiving pallatative care and the bereaved
-
for God to guard and guide each of us in all we do and say
