Shoreham Church Stay & Play
Stay & Play at St Peter & St Paul Church, Shoreham is a welcoming weekly group for babies, toddlers, pre-school children and their carers. It offers a relaxed and friendly space to play, chat, make new friends and enjoy time together within our church community.
Fun for Little Ones and Grown-Ups!
Join us at St Peter & St Paul’s for our Parents, Carers, Babies, and Toddler Group every Monday morning from 9.30 to 11.30am in the Village Hall. We also host Messy Church a few times a year, full of crafts, stories, songs, and good old-fashioned fun!
Our sessions are relaxed—you’re welcome to come for the whole time or just pop in. There’s plenty for pre-schoolers to explore, from toys and crafts to singing and stories, while grown-ups enjoy coffee, chat, and meeting other local families. We follow fun themes throughout the year, including ones inspired by the church calendar.
Liz, our amazing Stay & Play leader, is a qualified Nursery Nurse with years of experience and a local mum with two adopted children. She also runs an Adoption UK support group, a second-hand book club (complete with pop-up stalls and mini events), and leads Messy Church at her own church—so there’s no shortage of ideas and energy!
Our Village Hall is packed with toys, but if you have any of the following to spare, we’d love to hear from you via email or our Facebook page:
-
Farm animals
-
Knobby jigsaws
-
Toy instruments
-
Duplo
-
Boys’ or unisex dressing-up clothes
-
Boy dolls
A huge thank you to Ruth Ellis Smith, whose generous legacy made this group possible for Shoreham families. Shoreham Church Stay & Play is proudly part of the Early Years Alliance.
